The Team

Liz Filmer Landscaping employs full time, part time and casual staff. We train apprentices and utilise many skilful subcontractors to complete our projects.

LIZ FILMER  DB-L 30419 Liz is the founder and director of Liz Filmer Landscaping. Liz is a registered builder and has been working in the landscaping industry for over 20 years. Liz is the creative and dynamic driving force behind the company pushing landscape construction to new heights. Her roles include project and operations management, quality control, estimation, machinery operation, training, design and skilled construction.

MATTHEW SMITH B.Eng (Civil) Matthew is the strategic developer and business manager for Liz Filmer Landscaping. Matthews’s role incudes project management, estimation, computer aided design, human resources, public relations, accounting, systems development and business planning.

ANDERS CARLSSON  Anders is one of the leading hands in company. Anders has had over 20 years experience in paving and stone work all over the world. This has given him extensive knowledge of the many different types of paving surfaces and stone applications in the landscape. Anders role includes project management, quality control, training, skilled construction, first aid and safety officer.

KRISTY COCKBURN  Kristy is a qualified landscaper having recently completed her apprenticeship with Liz Filmer Landscaping. Having grown up with a family involved in the building industry Kristy has developed a natural enthusiasm for outdoor construction. Kristy’s roles include skilled construction, quality control, first aid and safety officer.

KELLY BUCKLAND Kelly is the administration assistant for Liz Filmer landscaping. She is involved with tasks such as payroll, project administration, accounts, and office management.

DENNIS McCANN Dennis is a qualified mechanic and maintains the plant and equipment used in the companies daily operations. Dennis’s role includes servicing and repairs to plant and machinery, vehicle detailing, management of business premises and employee relations.
PHILLIP MATHESON Phillip is the latest apprentice to join the Liz Filmer Landscaping team. Phillip approached Liz Filmer Landscaping seeking a career in landscaping. As a result of his initiative and good character the company created a new position to accommodate him. Phillip is proving to be a very supportive team member.
PETER GRANT Peter’s position in Liz Filmer Landscaping can best be described as ‘all round nice guy’. Peter’s finest quality is his ability to work as a team and to keep the laughs coming during the day.
